Privacy notice

This site is the personal portfolio of Pablo Andrés Ochoa Jaramillo, a Computer Science Engineering student in Loja, Ecuador. It is an informational website: it sells nothing, has no user accounts and asks for no sign-up.

No cookies, no tracking

The site sets no first-party cookies, uses no browser local storage and carries no analytics or advertising tools. It loads no third-party resources either: fonts and images are served from this same domain, so no external provider learns about your visit. That is why you will not see a consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.

The hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may record your IP address, the time of the request and technical browser data in its server logs, and may set strictly necessary cookies to protect itself from automated traffic. That processing is indispensable for the page to reach you and for its security, and it is not used to profile you.

If you write to me

When you contact me through the channels published here, I receive the data you choose to send: your name, your email address or profile, and the content of your message.

Purpose: to reply to you and, where applicable, to carry on the conversation about an offer, a collaboration or a project. Legal basis: your own consent in writing to me, and the legitimate interest in attending to communications addressed to me. Retention: I keep messages for as long as the conversation still makes sense; after that I delete them.

I do not pass that data on to anyone, nor do I use it to send you communications you have not asked for. Bear in mind that messages travel through email and LinkedIn services, which process your data under their own policies.

Links to other sites

This site links to repositories, deployed projects and certificate verification pages. Following those links takes you off this site and under the terms of each destination, over which I have no control.

Your rights

Under Ecuador's Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPDP), you may ask me for access to your data, itsrectification, its erasure, objection to or restriction of its processing, and portability. You may also withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise them, write to me at pablochoaj@outlook.com. I reply within fifteen days at most.

Changes

If the site ever adds analytics, forms or embedded third-party content, I will update this notice and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before switching them on.

Language

This is a courtesy translation. The Spanish version is the authoritative one: it is the original text and the language of the law it is based on. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
